TITLE:

Week 1 - Lab 1a Introduction to Matrix and Zenit Servers

OBJECTIVE:

As a result of this lab the student should understand the purpose of the Matrix and Phobos servers at Seneca College and demonstrate the basics to enter and edit some basic Unix/Linux commands from the shell prompt.

This is an On-Line Lab, please log into your matrix account and on the command line type in:
/home/murray.saul/bif713/labs/lab1
then follow the instructions on the screen. You are required to answer and submit the review questions at the end of this lab to your BIF703 instructor.

(Note: This online tutorial works best with black text on a white background. With many telnet, SSH, or shell windows you can configure the foreground (text) colour and the background colour).
