Currently, I am working as a professor in the school of ICT, Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology, Toronto, Canada. I am also working as an Adjunct Professor, Department of Computer Sciece, Moncton University, Canada. Before joining Seneca, I worked in the Univerity of Guelph, Queens' University, Ryerson University and many other universities as a faculty and post-doctoral research fellow. I have also several years of experiene working in industry as a programmer and network system analyst. I received PhD in the area of Wireless Communications and Network from the School of Computer Science at University of Guelph, Canada in 2012. I also obtained two masters degree in computer science from the University of Manitoba in 2005 and University of Dhaka in 2001. I have more than 20 years of experience working in acadmia and industry.

I am also serving as Editor-in-Chief, Guest Editor, Technical Program Committee Members of Refereed Journals and Conferences, Expert Committee Member of Many Canadian Government Research Funding Agencies.

My research interest includes but not limited to Computer and Communication Networks, Wireless and Mobile Sensor Networks, Mobile and Wireless Computing, Communication Protocols and Algorithms, Fault Tolerant Computing Systems, Internet of Things (IoT), M2M Communication, VANET, Big Data, Opportunistics Communication, Combinatorial Optimizations, Pattern Classes. I have published 100+ papers in refereed journals and conferences including the IEEE Transactions of Wireless Communications, Wiley Journal of Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing, Eurasip Journal of Wireless Communications and Networking, IEEE Globecom, IEEE ICC, IWCMC, and WiMob Conferences.
