  • describe a typical user of the interface
  • the purpose of the interface
  • the specific aspect that is good/bad
  • reason why you find it good/bad
  • if bad, suggest a better way
  • if possible, take a photograph to illustrate your example

Survey the internet and find one example of good user interface design and one example of a bad interface design. Make short notes on the following:

  • describe a typical user of the interface
  • the purpose of the interface
  • the specific aspect that is good/bad
  • reason why you find it good/bad
  • if bad, suggest a better way
  • take a screenshot to illustrate your example

Be specific. Focus on one feature or one aspect of the interface. Avoid general statements in your description.

eMail your descriptions to your instructor so that s/he can upload them to the course's hall of shame and fame.
