Students Needed for Fish Hackathon 2018
Fish Hackathon is a major “cause hackathon” being conducted Feb 10,11 2018 in over 35 cities globally with Washington DC and Toronto as anchor cities. It is bringing the world together to protect life in our waters and preserve our planet’s future.
An open house and information session is planned for any Seneca ICT students and faulty who may be interested in participating on Jan 17, from 6p.m. to 8p.m. in room S3028.
Faculty members Cindy Laurin, Mohamed Kassim and Mark Buchner are available for support. Choosing topics of interest and potential team members is a key objective for the meeting. Representatives from HackerNest will also be present.
Participation in this event is free for the the first 50 students that register. Registration includes meals for the weekend. See their website for more information here.
