Seneca CPD Student in Master the Mainframe Wall of Fame
Daniel Kawata, a CPD student, has reached the final phase of IBM's Master the mainframe contest.
The Master the Mainframe (IBM) is a virtual contest to students to progressively teach mainframe skills in a real-world enterprise computing environment using z/OS, C, Java, Rexx, Cobol, Assembler, JCL, etc. This is the largest mainframe competition (~85000) in the world and also employers from around the globe use this contest to seek out potential candidates. There are 3 phases, and up to now there are around 200 finalists. The deadline to submit final projects is Dec 31.
