Faculty and staff

Our programs are delivered by over 100 qualified and experienced faculty, and supported by in-class and administrative staff.

Ontario College faculty, as a group, bring years of industry experience into the classroom. Many of our faculty members have earned teaching awards, while others are involved in leading-edge applied research, supported by senior students in our programs.

Campuses

The Seneca @ York campus - on the York University Keele campus - is home to our computer programming and information technology administration programs.

Seneca's main Newnham campus is home to our electronics and computer engineering technology programs.

Open source

The School of ICT is recognized worldwide as a leader in open source education. The School was an early adopter of open source technology in the classroom and has since established innovative relationships with world class open source projects, such as Mozilla’s Firefox web browser. Seneca students have the opportunity to work with developers around the globe, contributing to software used by millions of people.

Since 2002, the School has run the Free Software and Open Source Symposium (FSOSS), regarded by many as the premiere open source event in North America.
